On most days, Wil thinks he’s Portuguese. Don’t be fooled by the surname, he’s not. What he is though, is an avid music buff who consumes all things audio.

Before starting Mango Jam, Wil spent 10 years at Young & Rubicam, Dubai. Creating campaigns for clients like Ford, LG, Citibank and Domino’s Pizza. Picking up awards along the way and making Regional Creative Director.

However, the pull of music proved too strong, and now Wil loves ‘singing for his supper’. He brings with him bagloads of experience from years spent in the advertising trenches,along with a creative spin on sound design and music production.

Over the years, he has established lasting collaborations with local and international voice talents, musicians and audio professionals to deliver a consistently high quality of work in the field of audio production. Proof being the international awards like Cannes Lions, D&AD pencils, Dubai Lynx and Clio awards garnered by the studio.

Mango Jam is his initiative to make the world a better place, one audio project at a time.

Sandeep Sequeira is a Dubai-based music producer, recording engineer, and songwriter specialising in alternative, folk and rock music. Active in the UAE music scene since 2005, he has worked extensively with local bands, helping shape records that stay true to the artist while meeting international standards. As a guitarist, singer and songwriter himself, his work is rooted in musical empathy and performance-driven production. And has been featured in local press and international publications,including Classic Rock.

He holds a Diploma in Audio Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production and a Master’s degree in Music Production & Sound Engineering. Before joining Mango Jam, he spent 12 years as an educator at SAE Institute, Dubai, mentoring the next generation of producers and engineers.

At Mango Jam, Sandeep works with leading brands, agencies and production houses across the region. Understanding and deciphering briefs, offering creative solutions and facilitating an end product that exceeds expectations. His approach centres on gathering every bit of information, respecting the client’s needs and exploring every possibility to make magic happen.

His love for music is only marginally pipped by his love for a good sauna. It’s here that you’ll find Sandeep on almost all his days off!!

Samantha Hannan is the Business Development Manager at Mango Jam Studio, leading the studio’s commercial strategy, digital presence, and regional outreach. She focuses on driving sustainable growth, shaping how the studio presents itself to the world and building the relationships that bring new opportunities through the door.

Samantha has always been drawn to sound - a fascination that started early and never really left. She began playing piano at age five, eventually training classically and later earning her bachelor’s degree in Audio Production from SAE Institute Dubai. Music has been a constant thread in her life and she still composes whenever inspiration strikes.

Speaking of strikes, Samantha is also a professional tenpin bowler who has competed internationally and previously represented the England national team. Her experience in high‑level sport has shaped her approach to discipline, focus, and long‑term strategy; qualities she brings into every project and partnership at Mango Jam. Whatever the task, she most definitely has the balls for it!

Jay Wud is an accomplished singer, songwriter, music producer, guitarist and a proven headline act. Having also supported, with his band, famous artists like Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue and Skunk Ananise.

After achieving demi-God status for his music in Lebanon, he moved to Dubai and finally found his way to Mango Jam. Where he has produced memorable music pieces for clients like GMC, Huawei, Mobily and Etihad Airways, to name a few.

Jay lives and breathes music. And is seldom found without his trusty guitar. Whatever the brief, whatever the genre, Jay is most likely to have an idea that will blow your socks off. Or he’ll just play it really really loud for the same result.

Currently Jay resides in Los Angeles where he’s making his own tunes when he’s not jamming to ours.

Ameen is an audio maverick and record producer with over ten years of hands-on experience across (drumroll) recording, mixing, mastering, music production, film scoring, immersive surround mixing, sound design and post-production editing (and breathe).

Born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, Ameen grew up surrounded by diverse musical cultures thanks to his Moroccan and Iraqi roots. This early exposure became a defining element of his creative identity, encouraging an experimental mindset and a natural fluency across styles, genres, and sonic textures. For him, sound is never just technical - it’s emotional, narrative and deeply connected to storytelling.

Story-driven projects are at the heart of his work. Particularly in film and documentary contexts where music and sound are essential to meaning. He enjoys projects that invite experimentation and push boundaries while remaining grounded in clarity and intention. Calm, disciplined, and focused, his workflow reflects a collaborative spirit and a strong ability to move quickly without compromising detail - an approach that clients value in fast-paced creative environments. At every stage, his goal remains the same: to create sound that feels melodic, immersive, and purposeful - sound that supports the story rather than competes with it.

Alongside studio work, Ameen is also a rapper and voice-over artist. Of late, he has been experimenting with AI tools to enhance and add value to his work. One of the AI tools he uses has written this profile ;-).

Darrel’s musical journey began early. At just 13 years of age, he was already making a big noise as the best Young Drummer of Karnataka (2003). By 2011, he was performing on some pretty big stages, including at the ICC Cricket World Cup Finals in India.

His desire to expand his music knowledge took him to the United States. And in 2014, Darrel graduated from the prestigious Full Sail University in Orlando as Student of the Year, solidifying both his artistic and academic excellence.

Since then he has been busy composing and producing music albums for major Bollywood labels including T-Series, Sony, Universal Music and Zee Music. Working with renowned Indian artists like Armaan Malik, Bappi Lahiri, Usha Uthup and Guru Kiran, amongst others.

The desire to be close to his family led Darrel to Dubai and eventually to Mango Jam. Where he has been instrumental in crafting bespoke music compositions and sound design for a host of clients.

Drummer, composer, music producer, Sound designer. Truly, Darrel wears many hats. And also shoes, of which he owns over 50 pairs.

Ali is a music producer/composer, audio engineer and keyboard player whose work spans films, television, video games and even live events. Before joining Mango Jam, Ali had already composed music for award-winning films, well-known Syrian TV series and interactive media, collaborating with directors across the MENA region.

His forte lies in composing music and designing sound with a strong narrative focus. Always responding to the story, the characters, and the emotion. And he is comfortable across a wide range of genres and works across the full emotional spectrum from joy to tension, melancholy to movement; creating music that balances precision with vulnerability and serves the story with clarity and intention.

A graduate of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Syria, he has a background in computer science and dramatic arts. Allowing him to bring to the table his learnings from both fields. We consider it the perfect Dubai deal - 2 for 1.

A finance professional with over 8 years of experience, Keerthana is everyone’s favourite at the Jam. Probably because she holds the purse strings!! And also due to the fact that she’s a genuinely good and kind-hearted person.

When she’s not balancing our books or spearheading the comprehensive management of daily financial operations, Keerthana loves spending time with her other family, watching Korean dramas and listening to K-Pop.

In a short span of time, she has streamlined processes and added much value to everyday operations. When it comes to numbers, she always has them dancing to her tune.

Don’t go by her quiet demeanour, that’s just Jwala’s ‘professional mode’. Give her the tiniest of pushes and the real Jwala bursts out - loud, colourful, chaotic, and very Gen‑Z, like a Ghibli heroine who just unlocked her final form.

At Mango Jam, Jwala handles invoicing and receivables, manages our vendor database, assist in preparation of financial reports and basically make sure our Finance Executive isn’t losing her mind.

Outside the finance battlefield, she paints, sketches and collects songs like some folk collect Pokemon. Her favourite song at the moment is ’Show me the Money’.

Lucitta is a people‑person with a soft heart, a love for all things blue and a talent for organising creative chaos. As the talent co-ordinator at Mango Jam Studio, she’s our resident matchmaker for vocal cords. She spends her days decoding client requests, compiling curated talent demos, scheduling voice‑over artists, calming creative storms,and making sure projects glide smoothly instead of combusting.

She’s known for being empathetic, kind, and weirdly good at remembering which talent prefers morning sessions and which one needs three reminders and a motivational speech. People say she’s helpful; Lucitta feels she’s just trying to keep the universe from collapsing into a scheduling black hole and from her flipping the switch.

When she’s not saving our world, Lucitta loves reading books, listening to music and learning new languages like Korean and German. Geunyeoneun wunderbar!!!

The longest serving member of our family, Hari is our man for all seasons. If something needs to get done, no matter what, he’ll make sure it happens. And all with a big smile.

He’s the reason why we don’t run out of coffee, office supplies or good vibes!

Don’t be fooled by his steely exterior; underneath lies a font of wisdom cocooned in a sea of delicious mango jam. Jambot is the heart and soul of Mango Jam, defining our philosophy and enlightening us with his astute observations. Yes, he sees all things, though he is a bot of few words. Actually, no words!!! He believes actions speak louder and in the doing of things to get them done. Profound isn’t it!!! Such wisdom.

Jambot abhors mediocrity in all forms and loves challenges. Right now, he’s trying to break the Guinness World Record for continuously maintaining the same facial expression. It’s been about 15 years and counting. We have no doubt that he’ll do it!
